This week on The Ravager (SWTOR) (28/01/12)
Another week (and a half) flew by...
Mainly did some pvp on my Assassin, Ilum can be really fun if there is enough Republics present.
A nice batch of valor make you level up faster to rank 60 :-).
If no-one is there it's kinda boring just collecting armaments and camping their base exit.
While PVP-ing i had plenty of time to switch my professions to Biochemistry, Bio-analysis and Diplomacy.
All but Diplomacy are now leveled to 400 and I got the special stim that's reusable.
I'm trying to get into more hardmode groups for more of the crafting material so I can craft the Adrenal and the Medpac.
Leveling Diplomacy (385) got me to Dark V as well, I might be buying the Dark V mount soon then.
In the past week I did one Operation where a new belt. We also tried the Towers of Hannoy boss. We were unable to kill him though that night.
I leveled my agent a bit, got to level 17. She now has her own spaceship.
Need to start on Balmorra now.
Together with a friend, Hazeel, I've started leveling my mercenary. We are level 19 at the moment.
We did some questing on Balmorra already.
With this character having her ship as well, I now got a look at all the Empire spaceships.

This week on The Ravager (SWTOR) (19/01/12)
Hello again,
It's been a bit longer than usual since my last post.
I've done quite some pvp, the pvp dailies really encourage you to do them, especially if you're a bit lucky with the bags. And I kinda was ;-).
They changed Ilum for the worse yesterday with the patch. Before it was just win trading, now its a simple valor farm in the rep's base.
Anyway tonight the servers are down again (during European prime time...) in order to most likely fix this.
I've dropped my crew skills (Scavenging, Cybertech, Underworld trading) and switched them for Biochem, Bio-analysis and Diplomacy.
I found Cybertech to useless in it's current state so I decided to switch to something I can use the whole time (adrenals and med packs).
Although Biochem got nerfed I still think its quite useful.
Last week, Tuesday, I did my first operation went rather smooth we cleared most of Eternity Vault and The Hutt's palace.
And finished of SOA on Sunday. This boss is quite bugged, it should be fixed in latest patch (1.1) but I haven't tried since.
I've started a couple of alts. I talked last time about the Kirous, the Operative.
Now I've added Curse, the Marauder and Cursem, the Mercenary.
Pictures below, I don't have a screenshot yet from Curs.

This week on The Ravager (SWTOR) (09/01/12)
Hey,
Below the weekly overview of the past week. I got to 50 on Saturday so basically 3 RL weeks of leveling
Monday:
43 finishing off quests on Belsavis.
The story quest of the planet was really cool, you get to free some bad-ass sith dreadmasters.
Once you freed them you get to see them (in a cinematic) in action.
To bad they don't teach you anything though.
Tuesday:
The Voss planet is next. They are enormously religious.
It has some cool stuff with dreams and nightmares.
I got to level 44.
Wednesday:
Got to level 46, strong enough to finish the dream part of the class quest and after that a quick call from Korriban saying my new companion Xalek is ready to join the crew.
Thursday:
Today I only got to 47. I didn't have that much time to play.
Friday:
Level 49, now tomorrow I'm finishing it.
Saturday:
Hooray finally 50. I didn't have enough quests to get to 50 on Correlia though. So I pvped a bit till 50.
With Thanathon dead I'm now a member of the Dark Council.
Sunday:
On Sunday I mainly did pvp (warzones + Ilum).
Also did The boarding party flashpoint solo to complete some quests. It's really easy at 50. You don't even need to have the healing companion out the whole time.
I've also started a new character, Kirous, She's an Operative. Got her to level 12. I'll add a screenshot next week.

This week on The Ravager (SWTOR) (02/01/12)
First of all my best wishes for the new year.
An overview of the past week
Tuesday:
Due to the the maintance I didn't have that much time
I didn't know where to go at first. Turns out after some quests to Taris. I picked up a new skin here for Khem Val, Customization 10, He's a bit whiter now (than the security key version), still has armor. Too bad they didn't make an armor version of the green one.
I got to level 32 on Tuesday.
Wednesday:
On Wednesday I got to level 33, I focused some more PVP today. I kinda had to because I was going to fast in terms of quests.
I got to pick up my real apprentice here, a young padawan. I got to turn her ^^.
(Unfortunately) I still have to use Khem, I really need a tank with me.
Thursday:
I reached level 35. For once I did some group quests on Taris.
Friday:
A new planet, Hoth, seems rather cold. I reached level 37 there on Friday.
Saturday:
Another one to join me (companion), An archaeologist who can heal, he seems nice. But it feels he does low DPS making Khem still the better companion for me.
Another change of scenery and I went to Quesh, I finished this planet in one day, It was rather small though.
Did have a nice landscape.
I got to level 39 on the last day of the year.
Sunday:
Due to family occupations I didn't get to play much on Sunday I only got to 40. This does mean I get my top tier talent, Voltaic Slash, seems a nice replacement for Trash.

This week on The Ravager (SWTOR) (27/12/11)
Finally SWTOR is released. All set last tuesday to play, 30-45 min queue, got in ... And on character creation disconnected... Another 30 min queue later I finally get to play. I decided to play on The Ravager server.
Character creation of Curs my Sith Inquisitor:
Details are on the right. Handy if I want to recreate the same character.
Small overview of how I progressed.
Tuesday:
On my first day I got Khem Val with me and got to level 10. Since I did this already twice on beta it went pretty fast I actually fast forwarded some of the conversations.
Wednesday:
I reached level 15, going through Dromund Kaas pretty quickly, since I've done most of that as well.
Thursday
Level 18 and i got a Fury starship now in the Hangar. I got R2V8 to do some profession related stuff.
I tried out his healing but he does kinda suck at it. It's best to let him stick to the crafting/missions.
Friday:
I've reached 21. I started on Nar Shaddaa after this
Saturday:
Level 24 now and I've mostly been focusing on the class quest in order to get the 3rd companion.
Although at first sight he doesn't seem all that useful to me now, while leveling. He's just a ranged dps leaving me to tank. So I quickly had Khem running with me again. He is the romance companion for my class/gender. So it's going to be mostly with gifts I suppose.
Sunday:
28 now, nearing the end of the class story. It's really exciting.
Monday:
Today I got to the end of chapter one, goodbye Zash! evil b*tch ;-).
This gives me a chance to choose my legacy name, I went with Raivo, it's Finnish for fury. I thought it had a nice ring to it.
I ended up being 31 by the end of the first week.
Tuesday:
I'm writing this during the maintenance of SWTOR. There is currently no ETA so I don't know if I'll be playing tonight

This week on Outland with Curs (18/12/11)
Well can't say much on Outland as I wasn't there for most of the week. I had a ski holiday with no internet connection, so not much playing WoW.
Yesterday I went to buy Star Wars The Old Republic. So yes, I'll be playing this game now I still have some gametime on my WoW account but mainly I'll be posting about SWTOR. And although it's released on 15th December, it's only playable the 20th. So 2 more days before I can make my evil Sith Assassin.
Also while setting up my account I noticed you need an active subscription or enter a gamecard code in order to play. I'll head out again to the shop tomorrow for a gamecard.
A friend is playing on The Ravager at the moment so most likely I'll go there as well.

The Cursed: Well of Eternity Guild run |
I did the new boss, Azibal, in Baradin Hold on my Death Knight, pretty easy fight. Not much special about it just another tank & spank fight and get out of the whirlwind.
No interesting drops.
I also did the second part of the Dragon Soul raid on my Death Knight with the raidfinder. Terrible... Moonkin druids needing on a strength trinket...
Anyway I got to see the content I suppose.

Death Knight at the end of Madness of Deathwing fight. |
I did a normal run on my Shaman with Ättestupan in Dragon Soul. Got a pair of new gloves. Warlord Zon'ozz seemed to hard for our poorly geared alts. Guess we got some gearing up to do first.
In other news: Swtor will be released on 15th December, instead of 20th in Europe so I'll get that a bit earlier :-).
Also the server names should be published tomorrow.

This week on Outland with Curs (05/12/11)
What a week.., as said in an earlier post 4.3 is live.
I did the raidfinder part one on my Death Knight, had to do it in 2 times.
First time the first 2 bosses, Morchok and Warlord Zon'ozz. They were really easy, but they did say it would be on Baradin's Hold level. Unfortunately no interesting loot for me.
The second time I went I had to redo Morchok and Warlord Zon'ozz, and of course now 2 tier tokens drop... I've also noticed a lot of people had to pass on the loot because they already killed it once (you can only get loot from a boss once), so it might be interesting to do it later on the week as more people will have to pass.
The third and fourth, Yor'sahj the Unsleeping and Hagara the Stormbinder require some more coordination.
On Yor'sahj the Unsleeping you got know what oozes you got to kill first and the whole PUG raid got to do it. On Hagara the Stormbinder there is something with lighting that you have to move it over to 4 different points, the raid needs cooperate in a descent way so it jumps from 1 person to another. We did have to redo the lighting part a couple of times on the second occurring because some people screwed up. No intresting loot from these 2 either.
I might record these fights next week if I don't forget it.
Yesterday, Sunday, I got asked by a friend to join in for Madness of Deathwing on a normal raid (hence this post on Monday). This is the last boss. We got close on the 4th arm, but we didn't get there unfortunately.
DPSing one of the arms here, Deathwing on the right.
As you might have noticed on the screenshot I switched out my Tier10 Shoulders for the new healing ones from the dungeons. I'm now going for the dungeon "set". I read yesterday that the gloves are missing for the healing set so I might go with the tanking. Also I've missed out on the boots because of a quest reward I took the most valuable one, not looking at the items really...
I also got 2 swords,Treachery's Bite from the new dungeons (probably the only 2 intresting drops for my DPS set). Got some Tanking upgrades as well.
On my Druid I decided to quit feral and go boomkin to eventually evolve to resto. I did a couple of the new heroics on this one aswell. DPS is rather low :-(. Also I tried to heal one, we made it but it was quite tense, I'm going to gear up some more before doing it again.
The Cursed guild got a new achievement Profit Sharing
The auction lite addon got fixed so easy AH post again.
The idols and scarabs market seems to have collapsed on the Alliance side, where I could make some descent profit before. I think I'll hold off a bit for now, less people will farm it in the future and the items might become in higher demand again.
The gem demand on the other hand is going through the roof. I must have made around 15k gold combined on Death Knight and Druid. With all sorts of gems also the small green quality ones are selling good. Especially the red one going for 40g a piece.

Patch 4.3 Hour of Twilight is live! go go Transmogrification!
Today patch 4.3 Hour of Twilight, hits the servers.
Trailer
I logged in my Death Knight as soon as I got home to get my transmogrification done a.s.a.p.
As said in this post, I would now go for the Tier 10. I didn't have a belt and boots ready so I took those of the Death Knight's starter set.
Then looking at the AH for the rest of my gems I got left over from my big buy in.
Unfortunately my AuctionLite Addon is a big buggy. I have to manually search every item before posting it.
And the AH seems really slow on searching and posting, making it even a bigger pain in the ass.
A small overview of my most intresting post on Transmogrification:
1h swords sheathed on back
1h axes sheathed on back

Star Wars The Old Republic Second Beta Weekend
Hooray! There has been another Star Wars The Old Republic beta weekend, and it's been a bit longer than the previous one. Starting on Friday 17:00 and ending tonight at 19:00.
My previous experience and first impression can be found here.
I've mainly been playing a Jedi Shadow this time. I wanted to see The Republic side this time, how it differs from the Empire.
Also played a Sith Assassin to compare.
In the end I like the empire side more. The more darker options are fun, instead of all those diplomacy solutions.
Also between the Jedi Shadow and Sith Assassin, certain spell got different animations/names.
As Jedi Shadow you throw rocks (and other objects) and do some mind tricks. The Sith Assassin uses Lighting to do those things, which in my opinion look way cooler.
But to see as much of the Galactic Republic I stuck to leveling the Jedi Shadow as much as possible and I reached level 20,5.
I enjoyed playing the Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow more than the Sith Marauder so I guess I'll be starting with a Sith Assassin at launch.
This class really rocks in Warzones, nice burst, stealth, sprint and a knock back ability (which is awesome in Huttball on the bridges)
The MVP votes on the Warzones seems a bit off though. It doesn't really count how much you did for an objective. And most people seem to voted based on damage/healing/kills. In this way you basically will ignore the objective then? I hope this gets changed though.
I took some screenshots this time. The ingame screenshot maker didn't seem to work, or well I didn't find the files. So i had to paste in paint every time.
